Welcome to Nuttersworld
It's not every day that you stumble across an ancient Greek cannonball. This was one of a few in what was once a munitions store for a catapult installation defending the walls of Segesta in western Sicily. Segesta by the way is just one of the more remote archaeological sites we have visited on our travels looking for signs of those first inhabitants and societies around the Mediterranean.
